in Canada's financial capital, Toronto - home to 5.2 million
people. Toronto is just over a one hour flight to major US
travel markets of New York and Chicago. The city is also the

corporate planners and incentive houses.

» About The President:
Chris
Ryall brings a wealth of tourism marketing and communications
experience. His business travels have taken him throughout
Canada, United States, Mexico, Caribbean, Latin America, Europe,
South Pacific, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Chris began his career as a journalist following graduation
majoring in Radio & TV Broadcasting. He gradually moved
into the travel industry by producing, writing and directing
a weekly television travel show and freelance writing for
publications in Canada.
He has worked for a number of different tourist boards including the
Australian Tourist Commission and the Macau Tourist Information Bureau.
In 1993, Chris joined a tourism marketing company as Director
of Communications and handled marketing and public relations
for various tourism accounts including the United States Travel
and Tourism Administration and various US state tourist boards.
In 1996, TME was born after many years working in all aspects
of the tourism industry and a variety of clients. TME has
represented clients in all sectors: local, provincial/state
and federal tourism organizations; wholesalers and tour operators;
travel agency consortia; airlines; hotels and resorts; online
travel media and technology related companies.
Chris and his staff go the extra mile for clients -- in fact
26.2 miles. In a promotion with his Arizona Office of Tourism
client, Chris volunteered to run his first marathon as part
of a travel agent promotion. Chris demands quality work of
himself and his staff -- not just to meet client's expectations
but exceed them! The promotion was a success and won a prestigious Governor's Award for Innovative Promotion.
Chris has sat on many boards including the Discover America Committee - Canada and was Vice-President for the Association
of National Tourist Office Representatives - Canada (ANTOR). He is
a current member of the Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC)
and the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW). He also serves on the Advisory Board for Humber College's Tourism and Hospitality Management Program.
Chris continues to freelance as a writer. He currently writes a twice monthly column, "The Ryall Report," for the national travel trade TravelIndustryToday.com as well as a monthly spa/wellness column, "The Spa Scene" in the same publication. He is called upon by the media to speak about travel trends, Canadian travel market characteristics, family travel and spas. He is married to a Television Network Executive and has two children.

In a successful travel industry career spanning more than two decades, Annika Klint has hands on industry experience including owning, operating and holding senior management positions with numerous travel enterprises.
She has acquired a detailed insider’s working knowledge of current operations in travel agencies (including Virtuoso, Ensemble, Signature, Hogg Robinson, AMEX, CWT), tour operators (including Sunquest, Holiday House), airline, and incentive, group, conference businesses, trade associations, specialty companies as well as cultivated an excellent rapport with a significant list of key decision makers.
Among her career achievements, Annika was Vice President/General Manager of one of Canada's largest indepent Virtuso Travel Agencies. She was Vice President Sales & Marketing for MyTravel/Thomas Cook Canada’s retail division and Director of Business Development at BTI Canada/Hogg Robinson. Her wide-ranging and successful career has included positions with INTRA Travel Corporation/Carlson Wagonlit, Scandinavian Airlines and Wardair Canada.
Her passion for travel flows over into her personal life with a priority of travelling the world over the past 25 years.
Annika began her career in Denmark with Maersk Air in 1983 after completing her BA in political science at the University of Toronto. Having lived in Sweden, Denmark, Yugoslavia & Canada, she now makes her home in Toronto.
